Three Minutes of Stillness

Most days begin before we even realise they’ve started.

A quick glance at the phone.
A rush of thoughts.
A sense of being already behind.

And just like that,
the nervous system is activated —
before the day has even asked anything of us.

But there is another way to begin your day.

Three minutes of stillness.

Three minutes where you stop.
Where you breathe.
Where you allow yourself to centre.

Stillness is not wasted time.
It’s a reset.

In those few quiet moments,
your breath softens,
your body unwinds,
and your inner world begins to settle.

You move out of urgency…
and back into presence.

And presence makes all the difference.

You respond instead of react.
You carry steadiness into your conversations.
You feel less overwhelmed by the small things.

This is why even a brief daily ritual of stillness
can change the entire rhythm of your day.

You don’t need long practices.
You don’t need perfect conditions.

You simply need to pause —
long enough to remember yourself.
